Seattle Poetry Slam
The Seattle Poetry Slam is a weekly poetry competition run by a collective of people – the award-winning Seattle Slam Family. The focus is equally split between the original content/writing of the poem and how the poem is performed. Annually, Seattle sends poets to the National Poetry Slam, Individual World Poetry, and Women of the World Poetry Slam where they continually win high accolades.
Seattle Poetry Slam has been a Shunpike-affiliated group since December 2007.
