Georgetown Super 8 Film Festival
The Georgetown Super 8 Film Festival (GS8) is a community-based event dedicated to the creation and sharing of un-juried, amateur Super 8 films, with the goal of promoting individual creativity and community understanding. GS8 educates participants in Super 8 filmmaking and provides them with equipment, free of charge, to make films, which are screened at local venues for the entire community.
The Georgetown Super 8 Film Festival has been a Shunpike-affiliated group since December 2008.
