Guidelines

Eligibility

Projects and organizations of all artistic disciplines are welcome to apply.

Our review panel looks for applicants that:

  • Serve a unique mission, purpose, and/or community
  • Project a significant fundraising component from charitable sources, like foundations and individual donors
  • Appear serious in intent and well-planned
  • Contribute to the overall sustainability of the arts communities of Seattle
  • Exhibit experience in the artistic medium in-line with project plans
  • Serve audiences and are located in or around Seattle
  • Encourage cultural diversity and address under-served communities
  • Propose sound strategies for fundraising, marketing and general operations
  • Show potential for future or ongoing artistic and/or management development
  • Exhibit a definite need for Shunpike services, resources, and support

Selection and Application Due Dates

Partner Artists Program

Applications to the Partner Artists Program are accepted online and reviewed quarterly.

Upcoming application dates

  • June 30, 2010
  • September 30, 2010
  • January 5, 2011

Applications should be received by Shunpike no later than 6PM on the due date for consideration in that period. Typically, applicants will be notified within 3 weeks of the due date on the status of their application.

Basic Fiscal Sponsorship

Applications for Basic Fiscal Sponsorship are accepted on a rolling basis.
