What We Offer

Are you looking for a simple fiscal sponsorship solution? Shunpike provides basic fiscal sponsorship to arts groups or projects that need the benefits of 501(c)(3) status, but are comfortable doing their own accounting, tax reporting and procuring their own licenses and permits.

Eligibility

Shunpike fiscally sponsors a broad array of arts groups and projects that are:

• Community-minded
• Working in a nonprofit business model
• In line with our mission to fuel innovation in the arts
• Current members of Shunpike

How to Apply

First, become a member of Shunpike to gain access to resources that will strengthen your project or group. Group Membership is required of all fiscal sponsorship applicants.

The Fiscal Sponsorship Application asks for information on your project or group, along with your financial and fundraising goals. If you are interested in applying, please contact us. We work with all applicants to gain an understanding of their project’s eligibility and to provide tips on creating a strong application.

Application Timeline

Applications are due on the first of each month.

A Shunpike staff member will work with you to ensure your application is ready for review. While we are selective, we want you to submit the best application you can. You will hear about the success of your application by the end of the month in which you apply.

Program Fees

• All fiscally sponsored groups maintain Shunpike Group membership, which has a $50 annual fee
• A one-time $50 Basic Fiscal Sponsorship registration fee, paid as your application is approved
• An administrative fee of 7% will be assessed on all revenues and contributions received for your Shunpike fund
