The mission of People’s Parking Lot can be simply stated as “activating vacant spaces.” The type of activation can range from artistic activity, such as a film screening in an empty retail space at the base of a new condominium building, to community events, like a neighborhood garage sale in a vacant lot or participation in an event like Park(ing) Day.
People’s Parking Lot has been a Shunpike affiliated group since October 2009.
