Crawl Space Gallery

Crawl Space is a Seattle art gallery founded by in 2003 by six working artists hoping to further the creation and exhibition of innovative artwork by early career artists in the region. With the current steering of its director and tight-knit base of artist members, Crawl Space has developed a unique system of ownership where member and guest artists plan, fund, and staff their own exhibitions and those of their peers. Focusing on large-scale and interactive installations, and work using experimental processes, exhibition formats, and materials, the gallery challenges early career artists to develop diverse and influential new art.
