BQdanza’a mission is to collaborate with artists from other media and cultures to develop original and innovative works. By synthesizing elements from various art forms, such as film, visual art, and spoken word, BQdanza seeks to reinvent the language of dance. In addition to the creation and presentation of dance, BQdannza has recently taken steps to make arts available to under served communities through arts education, artist residencies, exhibitions and performances. It is BQdanza’a hope to expand it’s educational programs in the coming years.
BQdanza has been a Shunpike affiliated group since July 2010.
