Absurd Reality Theatre

Absurd Reality Theatre (ART) is a Seattle performance group that exists to enrich, educate and entertain the Seattle community by providing a superior live theatre experience. Absurd Reality Theatre is dedicated to inspiring and facilitating collaboration among artists of all performance mediums. By cultivating new experimental works in theater, dance, and music, ART hope to encourage artistic community with persistent fervor, exploration, and a dedication to investigating the NOW.

Absurd Reality Theatre was founded in 2005 with Brandon Ryan, Shane Regan and Marie Frederickson. They started the company in hopes of doing Edward Albee's "The Zoo Story" and after the immense success of that show they realized they could continue going with further projects, so they created Absurd Reality Theatre Company.

ART has been a Partner Artist of Shunpike since August 2005
