Denise Doherty, a former performer herself, saw a gap with media coverage of artists that call Seattle home, and created A Girl on a Mission TV. The main purpose of A Girl on a Mission TV is to highlight artists in the Seattle area that might not have access to other local media and be an impetus for their success.
A Girl on a Mission TV has been a Shunpike affiliated group since October 2009.
