The Partner Artist fiscal sponsorship program accepts new projects and organizations quarterly. Next round applications due September 8. More info available on our website.

This fall will bring three opportunities to join us for an event. Next month, Shunpike introduces its first quarterly celebration on Thursday, September 18. Come meet all of the amazing artists, volunteers, partners, supporters, and other arts groups that help make our community.

Partner Artists: Upcoming Events
Renata Friedman's production of The K of D, directed by Braden Abraham, open through Aug 9. The K of D begins one hot, sticky summer in a lonely corner of Ohio when the local teenagers begin to note some startling occurrences around their small town. More info on their website.

Balagan Theatre presents Balagan presents the first show of its 2008-2009 season, Search and Destroy, Aug 21- Sept 13. Set against the flashy and promise-filled 1980s, this fall from grace is a raw exposure of the human thirst for satisfaction.
Memory War Theater Project presents work created under compulsion, Sep 1, appearing as part of the Bumbershoot festival. Also performing Sep 3 - 6. More info on their website.
theater simple presents The Snow Queen: Gerda's Journey, Aug 21 - Sep 13, a theatrical park adventure based on their award-winning adaptation of The Snow Queen, by Hans Christian Andersen. Traveling through King County parks and Bumbershoot. More info on their website.
Unicycle Collective presents MonoLodge 5, at Bumbershoot, Aug 30 and Sep 1. Uniycle Collective--Keith Hitchcock, Mary Purdy & Seth Rosenbloom--along with special guests Cecelia Frye, Marya Sea Kaminski & Lyam White, deliver a captivating buffet of short performances ranging from the silly to serious and poetic to absurd that will ignite Bumbershoot audiences.
