10/9/10: Save the Date for “Golden”!

Golden

Save the date! “Golden,” Shunpike’s annual fundraising extravaganza, is coming around again on 10.9.10.

Join us that evening at Washington Hall for an evening of drinks and performances by Shunpike arts groups. Keep an eye out for an invitation in the coming weeks!

Raise an Artist’s Business IQ!

Shunpike’s Arts Business Clinic opened in January, and more than 75 arts groups have come in since.

Shunpike’s Clinic consultation sessions are short and inexpensive — $30 for 30 minutes — because smaller arts groups and independent artists rarely have funds to devote to business growth. Sometimes they get stuck and need a trusted resource to get them back on track.

In Arts Business Clinics, Shunpike experts answer key questions -– How do I build a board of directors? What’s the best way for us to fundraise? Should my new arts business be for-profit or nonprofit? -– to help arts groups move forward.

The Arts Business Clinic is a community resource. It only exists because individual donors subsidize the cost to participants. You can help. A $30 gift gets an arts group 30 minutes closer to the next big thing.

Please make a gift today through either our online donation page or facebook cause.
